Experience

Studio Dittrich has been practicing civil law since 1960. Prof. Lotario Dittrich, after extensive experience in leading Italian law firms, has decided to take over his father Lawyer Vincenzo Dittrich's firm, bringing together his experience as a litigator of highly complex disputes and as an arbitrator with the experience of the firm's long-time collaborators and with the addition of new energy. Prof. Dittrich's specialization in civil procedural law combined with the solid experience of the other members of the firm in the fields of civil, commercial and family law.

The owner of the firm, prof. Lotario B. Dittrich, Professor of Civil Procedural Law at the University of Trieste, former partner of Studio Lombardi Molinari, ranked in Chambers Europe and International and in Who's Who Legal as one of the best Italian litigators. He is active in the field of high-level litigation; he has been appointed as an adjudicator and has extensive experience as a lawyer in arbitrations, including international arbitrations.

As a professor he has more than eighty publications to his name; he has overseen and partly edited the five-volume Treatise on civil procedural law for Wolters Kluwer; he has recently published an essay about Evidence in civil and arbitration proceedings.

Professionalism

The professional choice has been to ensure, since the beginning, a personalized consultation, with the direct involvement of the professionals in charge of the practice. The firm is also able to ensure a wide network of collaborators to manage matters for which specific expertise is required, involving from time to time, according to a flexible model, experts of different fields, maintaining the coordination and supervision of working groups.

The firm specializes in litigation and arbitration, primarily in the following matters

Commercial law

Background

The firm was founded in 1960 by Vincenzo Dittrich, lawyer. In 1992, avv. Di Gregorio joined the firm, first as a collaborator and then as a partner, while avv.. Forte has been working with the firm since 1999.

Prof. Dittrich, after the first years of working together, gained experience by becoming a partner of Lombardi Molinari and then of counsel of BonelliErede. In 2021, he decided to continue his professional experience on his own, taking over the family firm after the death of his father.

The firm has always focused on civil law. The technical component has always been associated with a strong perception of the values of fairness and respect for clients, regardless of their status or the value of the cases.

Today the Firm can boast a solid clientele of corporations, most of which are listed and of national importance.

It also advises fellow lawyers on matters of particular procedural complexity, particularly in appeals before the Supreme Court of Cassation.
